ABOUT THE AUTHOR
My name is Kara Tubbs, and I am thrilled to share my first children’s book with you. I hold a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida and have been teaching children in various capacities for over twenty years. I have been married for 28 years and am the proud mother of three amazing children.
My experience working with children has given me valuable insights into the types of books that truly engage them. I believe that my two decades of teaching, combined with my experiences as a mother, have allowed me to create a book that children will love! Additionally, I have crafted a story that teachers will enjoy reading to their students. It is simple, humorous, and filled with valuable lessons.

As a former teacher, I found this book truly moving. An easy read for former teachers as well as those who see education in their future. What a great job the author does at telling stories with compassion for her calling. It is clear her love for children and that makes me smile!
